“Our Country Is Falling Apart,” Mpho Wabadimo Addresses Serious Issues Affecting South Africa. Most of the time we reduce them to just being slay queens or mere Instagram influencers. The truth of the matter though is that the likes of Mpho Wabadimo are intelligent, and quite aware of what is going on in the country.
The Big Brother Mzansi Season III winner and Sangoma normally shares pictures of herself looking all glamorous on Instagram. This time around though, Mpho has changed gears, and shifted her attention to the state of South Africa. She spoke about the dilapidated infrastructures, which go on for years unmaintained. Mpho also mentioned the recent gas explosion, that took place in Bree Street, Johannesburg. She fails to understand how the cit government was not aware of the old pipe, that leaked the gas.
“This is just one example that shows that South Africa’s physical infrastructure is collapsing around us in front of our eyes…to think of it our country is falling apart,” Mpho said.
Just like most South Africans, Mpho wants the government to start addressing these kind of issues, and coming up with solutions. She feels the those in power don’t care enough because most of this issues do not affect them directly.
