Khutso Theledi Showers Her Mom With Praises. One thing about Khutso Theledi, she is big on family. Over the weekend she bagged her ever first radio award, and she credited her late father for the win. Appreciating the award, Khutso said it goes to her dad, who passed away when she was just a child.
After her dad’s passing, she was raised by her mother and started displaying her talent in school. Khutso was active in public speaking and school debates. She gained the exposure and boldness to speak to a large number of people. Now Khutso is here, doing an excellent job as a radio host and bagging awards while at it.
The radio personality and entrepreneur bagged herself Entertainment Radio Presenter of the Year gong, at the 2023 Basadi In Music Awards. The award was for her METRO FM show, The Break Away with Khutso Theledi, which has been around for only a few months. She took her mother with, to witness her making history. Expressing her gratitude, Khutso spoke highly of her mom, who came to offer her support on her biggest night. She also mentioned her mom’s great qualities, which include love and strength.

To the world, it might have been an awards night, but to me, it was a night where your presence shined the brightest. Your support at the #BasadiInMusicAwards2023 was a reflection of the love and strength you’ve always given me. You are my world in every sense. Thank you mama💕,” Khutso said in gratitude.
