Kelly Khumalo Dropped By Another Music Festival. Just a few days back, Kelly Khumalo found herself trending on social media. This was after Tribute to Women Festival organizers removed her from their festival lineup. On their statement, the organizers stated that they have noted, with concern, various comments on social media platforms and calls from many patrons of their festival.

This has everything to do with the latest developments on the Senzo Meyiwa case. Many believe that Kelly knows more than she lets out. It has been revealed in court that Kelly was telephoned twice by one of the suspects accused of killing Senzo. The calling is said to have happened before his death. After the revelation, many people who have been following the case attacked Kelly on social media, saying she knows something. The also called for promoters to not work with her.

Tribute to Women Festival, removed the multi-award winning songstress and reality show star from the lineup, in the interest of safeguarding their festival. The removal will also afford Kelly and her team the time they require to deal with the issues emanating from the current court proceedings

Now another upcoming music festival, Maseru Jazz Festival, has followed suit. Kelly was due to perform at the star-studded event, which will be taking place on 24 September. After online pressure, Maseru Jazz FestivalT had to relief Kelly from her duties before they even began. They also cite that the comments on social media has forced them to take Kelly from their lineup.

Despite all of these cancellations happening Kelly has not commented. On the other hand, she is focusing her energy on the upcoming Gospel Explosion concert coming to the Market Theatre. She is also working with the Jaziel Brothers on a much anticipated music project.
