Entries for Miss Universe Africa 2024 Now Open. The pageantry industry is opening up, and more women are catered for. Gone are the days, when only ladies who could compete in beauty pageants had to be of a certain age, be single, with no kids, among other strict requirements.
Now organizers are being more considerate and acknowledging that beauty queens can also be with kids and husbands. One beauty pageant that is doing very well in that department, is the Miss Universe Africa. They are inclusive, and considers women in their different shapes and forms.
Mrs Universe Africa believes that an African woman can be anywhere in the universe and still be able to touch the hearts of the people she comes across. They are all about beauty an purpose, before everything else. The pageant also serves as a platform for empowering women from all walks of life, especially married, divorced, and widowed women.
For their requirements, participants should be married, divorced or widowed. They should also be a citizen of any African country. Participants should be between the ages of 20 to 55. The entry fee stands at R500. Entries have been open since the 24th of July and they will close on the 8th of September 2023.
Miss South Africa 2010 and entrepreneur Bokang Montjane-Tshabalala is the director of the pageant. She has urged women to take a chance on themselves, dream again, fetch their life as well as their dreams.
