1. Holly Wasserfall professionally known as Holly Rey was born 1996, in Westville, KwaZulu-Natal.

2. She attended high school at Eden College Durban, matriculating in 2014. In 2019, Rey graduated at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in Media studies.

3. Rey grew up in musical background. Her uncle, who is a musician, taught her how to play the guitar. Her musical career began at the age of 14, signing her first publishing deal with Sony.

4. Because of her amazing talent, Rey gained widespread recognition with her breakthrough single Deeper in 2018. The song was a massive hit in SA and beyond, earning her a spot on the international music scene.
