Thato Mokoena Bags Another Acting Role. A day ago she wrote on her Instagram, “This comeback is personal , it’s an apology to myself for not showing up as my best self.” Thato Mokoena penned this knowing very well that, once again, it’s her season.
Thato has recently been nominated for Social Media Influencer of the Year, in the 2023 Basadi in Music Awards. She will battle it out with Pamela Mtanga, Nelisiwe Sibiya, Tshidi Kekana Manganye and Mandz Not Hot. The nomination according to her is such an honor, more so looking at the personalities she is up against.
A couple of days later, Thato has more great news. The reality show star, TV personality, actress and musician has bagged a new acting role. She has joined the star studded cast of Magaeng, a new Mzansi Magic drama.
For this gig Thato was congratulated by fellow Big Brother Mzansi Season III, housemates Naledi Mogadime and BU. The two are also doing amazingly well in the industry.

This gig comes just months after Thato bagged a role on The River. She played a young lady by the name Nthabiseng Malete, on the hit 1Magic telenovela.
