In 2012, James commenced his studies at the University of South Africa. That same year, the talented actor and writer enrolled at Youth In Trust State Theatre to study Communication Arts and Films. James later studied language practice. This is because he wanted to be a versatile actor as well as a translator. This course has definitely come in handy, as James can now speak a variety of interesting languages.

We have seen James use his skill on Scandal!, where he plays Madala, a villain who pushes his businesses with criminal activities. On the role, James is able to hold fluent conversations in English, Isindebele, Xitsonga, Sepedi and Sepitori. This has earned him respect with Scandal! viewers who can’t get enough of him.

He recently tried the Language Check challenge and he impressed many with his linguistic skills. Adding on to the languages he speaks on Scandal! James can also speak French, IsiXhosa and TshiVenda. The man, Mataio, has just been released and Madala is seeking revenge. It looks like his trusted paternal aunt is somewhat involved in the matter.
