Pearl Thusi Takes Us Through Her Breathtaking Durban July Outfit. When it comes to honoring an event’s theme, our celebrities never disappoint. This past Sunday, a good number of our personalities flocked to KZN for the annual Durban July event. The theme for the event was Out of This World, and boy, most nailed it!
The likes of Khosi Twala, Lamiez Holworthy, Mihlali Ndamase and Nandi Madida brought their best fashion foot forward. Jessica Nkosi, who rocked a Ruberto Scholtz design was named Best Dressed. There was also Pearl Thusi who never disappoints at these kind of events. The talented actress, media personality and entrepreneur was dressed by one of her favorite designers, Gert Johan Cotzee.
Pearl is happy with Gert’s interpretation and execution of the theme and her personality.
“The beading, out of this world. 3D printed piece of art to glorify matriarchy, African pride and the future of fashion. Silk skirt with magical golden tones,” Pear described her outfit.
She also thanked her makeup artist BK for her brilliant work. Pearl loved her interpretation of the theme. Europa Art, the brand she represent came through for her with designer shoes. Her hair was courtesy of Jullz Beauty Goddess Braids, and nails were done by Tammy Taylor beauty salon. Pearl got her accessories from Preview Accessories.
