Nyaniso Dzedze and Wife Celebrate 10 Years Together Among Other Milestones. They say to give someone your time is the biggest gift you can give. This applies mostly in long term relationships, where couples give each other their time.
One couple that many can draw inspiration from is Nyaniso and Yana Fay Dzedze. The two have been together for a decade, and in no time will celebrate their 5th wedding anniversary. During all these years, the Dzedzes have shown us what true love really means. They have also endured hardships together, like back in 2020, when Fay was refused entry back in the country. This was during Covid-19 pandemic, and Fay’s passport was from a high risk country, Germany.
A day ago, the parents of one, celebrated a whole ten years of being together. Taking to Instagram Fay opened up about the turbulence that have been happening in their marriage lately. Luckily the couple has been working hard to get their house in order, and everything is now good.
“There’s been an immense amount of turbulence in our marriage lately – you might have watched some of the Instagram lives we did where we opened up about parts of the journey. In one of them, Nyaniso said, “The past caught up on us” and I’ve been describing it as rummaging through the relationship cupboards to sort out what we’re keeping and what we’re getting rid of,” Fay said.
She also mentioned that amidst it all, she has been finalizing both of her books. Both books are filled with their love and journey together. According to Fay, Nyaniso has written into every chapter, because her story unable to be fully told without him there.
“I’ve had moments of wondering how on earth it would work if we were to separate, and then deeper, I’ve felt the beauty of how my books have been a whisper into our future,” she added.
“Ultimately, the last few months have called us deeper, to a place where our vows hold more meaning than ever before. I’m excited to hug Nyaniso hello again in London at the end of this month, and for us to start a whole new decade with refreshed intentions, clear direction, and new adventures.
A massive cheers, salutes and wild hurrah for the many iterations of self we have been during our time together. God, have we given ourselves to the waves. Reckless, defiant and determined to crack the codes on our happiness. The adventures, the eras, the chapters – so many memories made.
