Job Overview And Responsibilities
• Process all point of sale transactions accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash, card and other payment methods according to company procedures
• Scan merchandise correctly and ensure pricing accuracy
• Promote Clicks ClubCard and assist with new member sign ups
• Inform customers about promotions and in store offers
• Provide friendly and professional customer service at all times
• Maintain till area cleanliness and general store housekeeping
• Follow stock and merchandising standards on the shop floor
• Support store team with daily operational tasks
• Maintain updated knowledge of products, promotions and store campaigns
Requirements And Skills
• Grade 12 qualification
• Basic maths and English at school level preferred
• Retail or FMCG experience is an advantage
• Strong customer service orientation
• Good communication skills with customers and team members
• Basic computer literacy for point of sale systems
• Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly
• Strong attention to detail during scanning and transactions
• Ability to work in a fast paced retail environment
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
• Ability to follow instructions and store procedures
