Check Out David Kau’s Kids Reactions Upon Seeing Him On The Masked Singer. When it comes to their parents, the kids always get second hand embarrassment. This is exactly what happened with David Kau’s kids this past Saturday when the saw him on The Masked Singer.

Over the weekend detectives, the audience as well as viewers at home got the shock of their lives as one of the contestants was unveiled. The Hippo failed fell short of votes, hence the personality behind the mask was revealed. It was none other than David Kau, who took many by surprise with his vocal skills. He sang September” by Earth, Wind and Fire and ended the performance with a spectacular split.

The award winning comedian, TV personality and producer gave clues that did not help the detectives in any way. He revealed that he was once upon a time a regular on our TV screens, and one of his ventures was inspired by the people’s player and the people’s poet. He also pointed out that he was very active during the Covid-19 pandemic, enjoyed a round of golf. J’Something said the Hippo was Siv Ngesi, Boity’s random guess was Robot Boii, Sithelo thought it was Makhaya Ntini, and Skhumba said the Hippo was DJ Sbu. 

To their shock, the Hippo turned out to be Kau. Even his kids were not aware that their daddy was doing his thing on The Masked Singer. This is because one of the rules states that contestants can’t reveal their identities until they’re eliminated. Kau’s wife Thalia recorded the kids reactions upon learning that the artist formerly known as Hippo was their dad. Kids being kids, they all looked embarrassed on behalf of their dad, more so when he pulled those dance moves.
