The story is set in Cape Town, and follows the life of Puleng Khumalo (Ama Qamata), a high school student who transfers to Parkhurst College, an elite private school. Puleng is on a mission to uncover the truth about her long-lost sister, Phumelele, who was abducted at birth. Her investigation leads her to believe that one of the students at Parkhurst College might be her sister.

As Puleng delves deeper into her search, she encounters a diverse group of students with their own secrets and complexities. She befriends Fikile Bhele (Khosi Ngema), a popular and talented swimmer. Puleng also forms alliances with Wade (Dillon Windvogel) and KB (Thabang Molaba), who help her navigate the intricacies of the school’s social dynamics.

Throughout the season, the series explores various themes, including identity, family and friendship. It also touches on the challenges faced by teenagers in a privileged and competitive environment.
