One segment to look forward to is the Crown Chasers, which is on its second season. Taking things a notch up, season 2 will include a ground-breaking 5-part reality TV series.
This year, Crown Chasers has been developed into a full-blown and thrilling reality competition. Contestants will be placed in real life Miss South Africa scenarios that include a series of challenges. These will be based on the four pillars of Miss South Africa, being duty, championship, empowerment and beauty.
All the finalists will move into Miss SA HQ from where they will be given tasks that will test their ability to show off their interpretation of these four pillars.
Their entrepreneurial and business skills will be put to the test. They’ll be asked to find innovative ways to encourage tourism, to show support for female-owned businesses, to raise money for charity or showcase aspects of heritage. A challenge winner will be selected each week by the judging panel.
The Judging panel consist of two judges, who are media personality and entrepreneur Bonang Matheba and actress, presenter and entrepreneur Leandie du Randt. Former Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi will host the Crown Chasers season II.
