Masechaba Over the Moon As Her Show The Big Secret Finds A New TV Home. This year all that Masechaba Khumalo is announcing is great news. The media personality and entrepreneur just gave birth to her 3rd son, and her career is also booming.
Masechaba has hosted a number of TV and radio shows, om major mediums across the country. One of her most influential shows is The Big Debate. The groundbreaking program explores various social issues and current affairs topics that affect South African society. In 2012 she hosted the SABC2 reality competition series Big Break Legacy and in 2013 she began hosting the talk show Eksê: Let’s Talk with Masechaba Lekalake with Tol A$$ Mo and Refilwe Modiselle on the OpenView HD channel eKasi+. In 2014 Masechaba hosted the e.tv game show I Love South Africa.
Two ears ago, Masechaba was announced as the host of The Big Secret for its season II. The BET reality show encourages people to come clean and reveal their darkest secrets to their family, friends, colleagues or anyone they feel to open up to. She took over for Khanyi Mbau who started with the show. In November 2022, Penny Lebyane took over the reigns from Masechaba to become the latest host.
The good thing though is that Masechaba’s season has made it to another TV channel. The Big Secret has just premiered on SABC1, making Masechaba all proud. She took to social media to express her excitement.
“I am super excited to reveal that my TV show is premiering on @sabc1_mzansifosho TONIGHT 6pm primetime!!! Be sure to tune in with the entire family. This is a show you don’t want to miss!!!” she said in excitement.
