Vuyolwethu Ngcukana Shares A Fun Fact About His New Character. A few weeks ago, he shared the beautiful news of him returning to the small screen. Vuyolwethu Ngcukana, is part of the cast of the new romantic Xhosa series called, 1802-Love Defies Time, which celebrates African love and history.
The captivating Xhosa love story, follows two star-crossed lovers as they travel through time in search of their destiny. Other cast members are Sikelelwa Vuyeleni, Thembisa Nxumalo, Prince Grootboom, Motheo Ratikane, and Amanda Quwe, to name just a few. 1802-Love Defies Time premiered on 1 May 2023 and it will air on Mondays to Wednesdays every week, on 1Magic. Already the reception is quite good, and fans are excitedly looking forward for another episode come Monday.
One of the characters that is surely keeping viewers glued to the screen is that of Dr. Zolulwethu Phango, played by Vuyo. The talented actor has just shared a fun fact about his new character.
“Dr. Zukolwethu Phango #1802LoveDefiesTime Fun Fact: This character coincidentally shares both my names halved. My full names are Ntabozuko Vuyolwethu, my heart jumped when I read it in the script the first time,” he said.
