Somizi’s Stilettos Steal the Show at the METRO FM Awards. Love him or hate him, he will always be that showstopper at major events. It went without saying that him being a backstage host at the recent 17th edition of the METRO FM Awards, he was going to bring everything fashion, and boy he did not disappoint one bit!
In one of his over-the-top looks, Somizi rocked a black suit by Zamaswazi and topped it off with a dramatic princess skirt decorated with a whole 1000 roses. He understood the assignment giving us some Met Gala vibes, making it om most best dressed lists of fashion articles. The celebrated media personality, reality show star and best selling author clearly was not done with us. Somizi showed many of his fans the level at which he is willing to go as a shoe fanatic. He rocked the highest stilettos, and we still wonder how he was able to walk in those babies.
Somizi wasn’t the only celeb who brought their best fashion foot forward. Lerato Kganyago, who was the co-host on the main stage, changed in five different outfits and slayed them all. Her outfits were designed by Gert-Johan Coetzee, except the Swati ensemble, which was designed by Imvunulo Cultural Affair. Her co-host Katlego Maboe, also stood his own, with a number of great outfits.
The likes of Blue Mbombo, Ntando Duma, Khutso Theledi, Naked DJ, Enhle Mbali and so many others ate and left no crumbs. Most of them honored the Black theme, which was quite heartwarming to see. The black carpet was hosted by the effervescent personalities Zanele Potelwa and Alphi Mkhwanazi.
