Social Media Reacts to Thabo Bester and Dr Nandipha Magudumana’s Virtual Court Appearance. Is this a case of not all animals being equal? This morning, while other 5 accused physically made it to the Bloemfontein Magistrate Court for their bail applications, the other two, Thabo Bester and Dr Nandipha Magudumana appeared virtually.
Magudumana who is accused of allegedly aiding and abetting Bester’s daring escape from Mangaung Correctional Centre in May last year. Despite these hectic accusations, the good doctor never misses an opportunity to slay in court. She is known for her Nike outfits and on point face beats in her court appearances. As it is now the norm, Magudumana looked al sorts of gorgeous this morning as she appeared on Zoom Meetings. Her make up was on fleek, hair up to date, and she was all smiles for the most part. Convicted murderer and Facebook rapist Bester wasn’t too shabby himself as well. He looked smart wearing a Burberry hoodie and spotting a fresh hair cut.
For her hearing, Magudumana decided to not apply for bail again today. Both she and Bester’s cases have been postponed to 20th of June 2023. The two will both remain behind bars until then.
It is not yet clear if their next hearing will be virtual or physical. For now though social media users are weighing in on what happened today. Many of them are not impressed that the two are appearing in court virtually. They feel Bester and Nandipha are given special treatment because money talks.
