Sad Note! Analyst, Broadcaster and Author Eusebius McKaiser Is Late. Death is indeed something else. Eusebius McKaiser, who was just tweeting a couple of hours ago is no more. His untimely passing has sent shock waves across the country.
Just a few hours back McKaiser was tweeting about rising star Musa Motha, who is based in England. Musa is a finalist in the Britain’s Got Talent and his story is quite inspirational. McKaiser is among those rallying behind the dancer, whose leg got amputated because of cancer. On his latest tweets, McKaiser is asking South Africans to retweet so that Musa can be a household name locally and in the UK. He also shared the 5-minute documentary about Musa’s childhood.
Sadly, we can never see his inspiring tweets again. The well-known broadcaster, author and political analyst passed away a couple of hours ago at his Sandton home, aged 44. His untimely death was confirmed by his manager, Jackie Strydom. Although details surrounding his death are still sketch, McKaiser is said to have died after suffering a suspected epileptic seizure.
McKaiser, has a very impressive CV in the media fraternity. He gained prominence as a Radio 702 talk show host. He hosted the SABC 3 current affairs programme Interface until 2011, and later anchored 702’s Talk@9 show on week nights.
When Power FM launched on 18 June 2013, he began as host of Power Talk, a weekday morning talk show. In October 2014, he left Power FM and returned to Radio 702. He left the station in June 2020, and went on to host a podcast called In the Ring.
McKaiser is a renowned author, having written three books about South African politics and society. He has also written for the Mail & Guardian, the Sunday Times, Foreign Policy, the Guardian, the New York Times, and Business Da.
