Khanyi Mbau Blames Editors for How She Is Portrayed On Young Famous and African. Since the first episode dropped a couple of days ago, Young Famous and African has been topping Twitter trends. Everyone can’t stop talking about the episode which was all sorts of dramatic.
The Netflix reality show, follows a crew of famed, affluent stars as they work and play, flirt and feud in Johannesburg. Surprising, the first episode shifted from the personalities’ success stories, and chose to focus on cat fights and beefs.
New to the show, Bonang Matheba, has shaken things up, by lashing out at another newcomer, Luis. Also, it became evident that her coming into the show made other cast members uncomfortable. Khanyi Mbau for one, had viewers concluding that she hates Bonang.
In her diary sessions, Khanyi revealed that she and Bonang are not friends and the have never worked together. She anticipated Bonang’s early exit, because according to her, she doesn’t work in groups. Dropping a bombshell, Khanyi said everyone there is a queen or king. Social media did not let this one slide, and Khanyi, was dragged.
In her defense, she released a statement claiming she was sabotaged by editors. The media personality and reality show star alleges that some important things were left out, choosing the ones that make her look bad.
“….we do not see the show till it is released to the public, so we are essentially just as surprised as the public.
The editors are messy and very spicey…
Sadly the editor made me the villain AGAIN! đŸ‘€editing out pivotal moments that give clarity, and deleting real scenes that shared the visuals of my real world , eg, our children,” she said.
