Is Jennifer Bala the Problem? Tweeps Weigh In On Her Behavior. On Thursday another episode of The Bala Family aired, and as expected the reality show trended. This time the focus is on the Makoti of the family, Jennifer Bala.
It is a common, yet very sad reality that in most cases a daughter-in-law is not accepted by her husband family. This stems from jealousy, insecurities and all sorts of negative aspects one can think of. The poor husband will be there, caught between defending his wife, and honoring his family. Well, it looks like the very same rivalry might be in the Bala family. Viewers have noticed that there is a bit of a tiff between Jennifer, her sister in law Pinky as well as her mother in law, mom Veronica.
When the show started airing, Pinky made it known that she has a problem with Jen. She kept on pointing out some of her short comings, which included her not fulfilling her duties as Makoti. In the first episode, she said they, as a whole family don’t get to see Jen and Loyiso’s kids. Pinky labeled them Instagram kids, as they only see their milestones on the social media platform. She immediately came across as a bitter sister-in-law, who just wants to make Jen’s life a living hell.
Well, the latest episode changed the perception of many. Viewers are now convinced that Jennifer is the problem. The fact that Jen, is kind of hesitant over her kids visiting their grandmother, did not sit well with many. According to her, the children’s “schedule” and routine will be disturbed should they sleep over at their grandmother’s. Viewers concluded that she undermines the Bala, and the whole Xhosa culture.
