Nandi Madida In Awe of the Beauty of Ancient Hairstyles. Nandi Madida always experiences with African inspired natural hairstyles. When many of her peers in the industry opt for weaves and wigs, she stands out by showing the versatility of a natural crown.
For as long as Nandi has been in the public eye, natural hair has become her signature style. She has celebrated and shown off her natural crown in a number of ways, setting an example to many black women out there. For a couple of months now, the award winning musician and media personality has been sharing posts about natural hair. In March, Nandi revealed that she has her own rituals using some ingredients for her hair. She also added that she wants to come through for many women out there, who want to achieve the same results. In another posts, Nandi shared some of the hairstyles she has rocked over the years. This includes Bantu knots, brush cuts, shorts dreads, cool cuts, colourful hairdos and so forth.
Today, Nandi took us back to some of the coolest hairstyles Africans used to rock. She can’t help but admire how, they turned hair into art and storytelling among other things. This has without a doubt left her inspired.
