Sithelo Shozi Bags A Major TV Gig. Many people have been wanting to see Sithelo Shozi on TV, for the longest time. In 2022, there was a rumor that she was one of the Real Housewives of Durban main cast members. She dismissed the rumors, stating that she is not crazy.

Well, well, well, what do you know! The DJ, entrepreneur and social media influencer has just bagged a major TV gig, that a lot of personalities can only dream of. Sithelo is one of the detectives, (judges) on new celebrity singing competition, The Masked Singer SA. The other three detectives, who will be holding it down with her are media personality and al round entertainer Somizi, award winning comedian and media personality Skhumba and award winning musician, author and TV personality J Something.

Announcing the great news, Sithelo could not hide her excitement. She stated that everything about her new gig, including her colleagues is out of this world. Sithelo is also as excited as her fans for the show to start airing on SABC1 and SABC2 channels.

The Masked Singer is a celebrity singing competition. Well known personalities perform under the cover of flamboyant costumes and facial masks to conceal their identities. It has proved to be a winning formula which has attracted voluminous audiences worldwide.

The South African version will be co-produced by Primedia and Anele Mdoda through her production company Rose and Oaks. This partnership will see The Masked Singer being tailored for local audiences and be broadcast in three languages.
