Keeping active promotes healthy weight gain during pregnancy, improves overall fitness and strengthens heart and blood vessels. It also helps women lose the baby weight after giving birth.
Mpho Wabadimo, who is slaying her pregnancy has just come through for fellow pregnant women with winning work out tips. The Big Brother Mzansi Season III winner, traditional healer and entrepreneur is expecting her second child. She shares the unborn baby with fellow former housemate Themba, who is now into music. Judging from her pictures on Instagram, Mpho has one of the best pregnancy glows, and the Underground Gang loves this for her. Despite all the drama that recently surrounded her, Mpho looks very happy and content.
Taking us through her exercise routine, Mpho started by admitting that it is not easy, because of all the extra weight. She is reaping the benefits though, some of those being getting rid of backaches and sleeplessness. She encouraged less active pregnant women to at least try walking and investing in a yoga ball. Mpho also encouraged them to listen to their bodies, take supplements and enjoy the beautiful journey.
