Moja Love TV Brings Former Child Star Wright Ngubeni Back to the Small Screen. Guess who is about to make a major comeback to the local entertainment industry! Wright Ngubeni is set to return to TV thanks to a new show, kuRuff.

Many people got to know Ngubeni as the rebellious teenager Jonathan Motene on Generations from 2003 to 2008. After which he acted in Rhythm City on eTV as Thula. His role sparked mixed emotions in the whole country after he shared a kiss with his co-actor, Stone, in one of the scenes. Two straight-looking men had us all glued to our screens as the killed their gay roles.

Ngubeni also became a film star with his role on Kedibone, a coming of age feature film about an exotically beautiful Sotho girl by the name of Kedibone Manamela. As a TV presenter, he hosted Moja Love show, called Love Back. The relationship show, which was a hit, gave people a chance to try everything in their power to get a former lover back in their lives. Ngubeni also did his thing as an executive producer on a number of shows throughout the years.

Now after a few ears of not hearing from him, Ngubeni is back on TV as the host of a new show, kuRuff. The show will be the first collaboration between Showmax and Moja Love TV Channel. kuRuff tackles the “burden” of being a sole breadwinner, sometimes known as black tax.

The 13-part reality show premieres on Showmax on 17 April 2023. Thereafter, an episode will be uploaded on Tuesdays on the platform. Watch the trailer below;
