Former YoTV Presenter Carly Fields Leaves Many Shocked After Revealing Her Age. Although YoTV was a kids’ show, almost everyone was entertained by it back in the day. The educational show instilled confidence in young people and kept them home after school.

YoTV brought us the likes of the late Akhumzi Jezile, CC Ravele, Lara Lipschitz, Carly Fields, Selae Thobakgale, Sade Giliberti, Tumi Voster, Tumi Moswa, DJ Switch, Sipho Ngwenya and Musa Mthombeni. Almost all of these personalities, went on to explore the entertainment industry in their adult years.

One such is Carly, who began her career in broadcasting at the age of 14. The media personality has hosted popular shows such as Disney’s Cartoon Café, and X-Attitude but to name a few. In 2007, Carly wet on to present One Gospel on DSTV. Her amazing talent hasn’t gone unnoticed, hence why in 2004 and 2005 she walked away with Best Youth Presenter awards.

Currently Carly is a radio presenter on Algoa FM serving the Eastern Cape Province and Garden Route. She recently joined the radio station, where she presents “Carly on Algoa FM” Friday evenings from 10pm to 2am and Saturday evenings from 7pm to 10pm.

Off air, Carly is a proud mother of two teenage daughters and an avid runner, with over 30 marathons and ultra-marathons, including four Comrades Marathon races under her belt.

One social media user recently took to Twitter, asking tweeps if the remember Carly from YoTV. Joining in the comments Carly revealed that in just two weeks she will be a 41-year-old. This shocked so many people, who feel like it’s just yesterday since they have seen her on the YoTV set. Looking at her recent pictures, she is definitely aging like fine wine.

“I’m actually 41 in 14 days! Yup, we’re all getting old,” Carly said
