Bonang Matheba Joins A Hit Netflix Reality Show
Bonang Matheba Joins A Hit Netflix Reality Show. Young, Famous & African is back for the second season, and we all can’t wait. The reality series follows a crew of famed, affluent stars as they work and play, flirt and feud in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The Netflix reality show took Africa by storm when it first aired in March 2022. There was a lot of glitz, glamour as well as the much needed drama on Season I of Young, Famous & African which starred African stars, such as Khanyi Mbau, Diamond Platnumz, Naked DJ, Nadia Nakai, Zari Hassan, and Andile Ncube. The show cast these rich celebrities, who are from South Africa, Nigeria, Tanzania and Uganda.
The entire cast is returning for the new season except Annie Macaulay-Idibia. Apparently the Nigerian actress married to singer 2Face Idibia, faulted the producers for editing out most of her parts that she considered key. She argued that a number of good scenes that might have portrayed her differently were omitted from the show.
Fans of the show shouldn’t worry that much, because there us a new addition, who has a fan base across the continent. Multi-award winning media personality and businesswoman Bonang Matheba has joined the cast as guest starring. Bonang, who is known for her flamboyant presenting skills and her signature voice, will appear in four episodes on the show. It has been a minute seeing her do her thing on the screen, and this reality show is certainly a perfect comeback!
Season II of Young, Famous & African premiers on 19th May exclusively on Netflix.
