Nozuko Ntshangase Explores More Opportunities After the End of Diep City. Normally when one loses their job, they work hard at getting the next one. This also happens in the entertainment industry, where agencies are always working around the clock to get their talents the next big gig.
When it was announced a couple of months ago that Diep City was getting canned, many were worried about their cast and crew members. During such tough times, the main concern was about their means of income, where will there next job come from and so forth. The great thing is that most of the actors on the multi-award winning telenovela are talented, and they will hopefully get cast on other shows.
While waiting for such to happen, the likes of Nozuko Ntshangase are being proactive with some side hustles. The talented actress played the lead role of Nokuthula ‘Nox’ Jele, the leader of an all-girl gang. Because of their disadvantaged background, the girls were groomed by a well known criminal, Mgedeza, to do acts of crime like heists and house breakings. Sadly for the, just like most gangs, it ended in tears as they all died by the bullet, except for Nox. Their deaths together with that of many cast members, saw the end of the telenovela.
Now that Nozuko has no acting job, she is using the time she has on her hands to inspire others in the same industry as her. On the 1st of April she will hold an actors workshop, to share all the knowledge she has acquires as an entertainer. There will e so much to learn, more especially for those who want to explore the industry.
