Langa Mavuso Mourns His Partner Lentswe Bhengu. One of the worst things that can happen to anyone is losing a partner to death. Your whole world just come crumbling down, and it takes forever to get over such a loss.
Currently going through that is Langa Mavuso. The award winning singer, songwriter is mourning his long-term boyfriend Lentswe Bhengu. The two have been in a relationship for years, and their love was just cute to witness. Although they gave each other space, on occasions like birthdays and anniversaries, they took to their respective social media accounts to celebrate one another.
Sadly, this is something we will never witness again, since Lentswe is no more. The celebrity chef, TV personality, author and content creator passed away on the 28th of February, at Sandton Medi-Clinic, where he was admitted. His family took to social media with a statement revealing that Lentswe suffered a short illness, which he sadly succumbed to.
As expected, upon hearing the news many people thought of Langa. They wanted to see how he will react to the news. A couple of hours after the death announcement, Langa took to his Twitter account to show his reaction to the news of Lentswe’s untimely passing.
Langa wrote “Lizwi Lam.”
The name Lizwi is of Xhosa origin, and it evokes logical reasoning. You are possibly intelligent, intuitive, graceful, and even a psychic. The full name of lizwi is lizwilenkosi which means the word of God”. It could also be that Langa was translating Lentswe, which is a Tswana word, to his language Xhosa.
The likes of Vuyolwethu Ngcukana, Thembisa Nxumalo, Nomsa Madida and so many other tweeps, extended their condolences to Langa.
In the meantime, Lentswe’s family have asked for privacy as they mourn their beloved son and brother. They also stated that details regarding his memorial and services will be shared in due course.
