“I Have Not Been Okay At All,” Mapula Mafole. We have just started the 3rd month of the year, and already many people are going through the most. With commodities getting expensive everyday, loss of jobs and business, high crime rates, it continues to show that we just have to brace ourselves for even a worse future.
Having noted all this, it is not easy though to admit it if you are drowning. So many people are putting on a brave face and just soldiering on. This happens mostly when you are a public figure, because you can get judged or be made a mockery of. Mapula Mafole though is among those celebrities who doesn’t let her public status stop her from talking about what she is going through.
The talented actress and DJ took to Twitter, where she revealed that she has not been OK lately. Just like most of us, Mapula just puts on a brave face and continues with life. Although she is going through a rough patch, Mapula is positive that the phase will pass, and she will get to enjoy happy days again. She also encouraged those going through various trials to soldier on and keep their heads up high.
“I have not been okay at all but ive had to put on the bravest face of my life. But i know this too shall pass. Just want to send love and light to anyone going through a difficult time. Whatever it may be, keep your head up. This too shall pass,” Mapula said.
About a year ago, Mapula revealed that she struggled with depression a lot during the years she played Mapule on Rhythm City. This had to do with her own personal stuff and also, she believes some of her depression came with the character she played.
