MacG Remembers His Late Crew Member on What Would Have Been His Birthday

MacG Remembers His Late Crew Member on What Would Have Been His Birthday. Losing someone you worked closely with is one devastating thing to go through. Worst still for MacG and the rest of Podcast and Chill crew, Blackie died a horrible death of gun violence.

Tshego Mokgotho, who was known to many as Blackie was a production crew member on the controversial Podcast and Chill with MacG. He was also a well known photographer and videographer who worked with major brands such as Drip Footwear. Blackie was shot dead on the 3rd of December 2021, and his death sent shock waves across South Africa.

Speaking about the unfortunate incident, the visibly shattered MacG tweeted that they lost a real one. Speaking for every member of the podcast network, he said Blackie was going to be missed.

No words can describe how I’m feeling right now, today we lost a real one. From everyone on the podcast network we will miss you. May your soul rest in peace #RipBLACKIE,” MacG said upon hearing of Blackie’s untimely passing.

Today would have been Tshego’s 24th birthday, and MacG has seized the moment to remember him. Not saying much, he shared a picture of his former colleague with brief but heartfelt caption.

“Gone but not forgotten,” MacG said.
