Penny Lebyane Part Ways With Massiv Metro. One thing about this industry, personalities and their listeners always meet to part. With the whole radio reshuffling that takes place annually, you never know if your fave will be saved, moved or axed.
One personality who has worked for a number of radio stations is Penny Lebyane. She currently hosts, Inspired Sunday on Radio2000. This is a Sunday Lifestyle show that delves into stories about people that are inspired by life and it’s ups and downs. Penny was hosting the show, while she was also employed by Massiv Metro, which she has sadly said goodbye to.
She started off with the radio station, hosting Massiv Mornings with Penny Lebyane every weekday from 06:00-09:00. The show shone the spotlight on men who are doing the most in their respective fields on Mondays. Tuesdays were reserved for Educational and Empowerment, among other things. Other days were filled with interviews, current affairs, music and more music.
As the station grew, Penny, then went on to host the Phly 3 to 5, a dynamic Drive time show. With over 20 years’ experience in both radio and television, the media personality brought unfiltered energy, opinions and a host of knowledge to the rocking, real and relevant entertaining show.
Bidding Massiv Metro goodbye, Penny spoke about the great time she had with her team as well as guests all round. She also thanked everyone who made her stay a beautiful one.
