Mbali started off as this calm wife, loved by her husband and in-laws. Due to not being able to conceive she became this woman who did every kind of evil deed to save her marriage. The actress behind the character, Nolwazi Ngubeni is sadly leaving the hit e.tv soapie. February 15th marked her last casting call.
“Being on Scandal! has been one of the greatest joys of my career. I truly appreciate the immense support the producers, cast and crew have shown me. I walk away with fond memories as I prepare to take on the next phase of my journey. Thank you to all the viewers for watching and consistently supporting my work,” she said.
Nolwazi also thanked her on-screen husband, Melusi Mbele for easily being one of the best performers she has ever worked with. She added that the actor is forever present, giving and guiding, as well as someone she could always completely trust.
