Lynn Forbes Opens Up About the Most Excruciating Pain She Has Ever Felt. Loosing a child, more so in this manner, is something no parent can get over. Although the Forbes family have been receiving immense messages of support, it will take time for them to get used to the fact that Kiernan is no longer with them.
It has been two weeks now, since the untimely passing of AKA. The multi-award winning rapper, TV personality and entrepreneur was gunned down in an alleged hit outside Wish restaurant in Florida Road, Durban. His former manager and long-time friend, Tebello ‘Tibz’ Motsoane, was also killed in the shooting. To date, there have been no arrests, although the video of the shooting made rounds on social media platforms.
For quite sometime, his mom Lynn Forbes didn’t say much with regards to what happened to her son. At the memorial service though, Glammy as she is commonly known, took to the podium to speak fondly about her son, his friends, the Megacy, as well as her other two children. As much as it was difficult, Lynn tried to hold it together, and celebrate AKA’s life and the legacy he has left behind.
This morning, the mourning mom took to Instagram, where she shared a touching picture of herself looking inside her son’s coffin. On the caption, she spoke about how difficult the past two weeks have been. Lynn, as expected, is going through the most, and she stated that her heart is shattered to a million pieces.

The last two weeks have been surreal, more specifically the mornings.
Waking up every morning, being reminded that this nightmare will never end, is the most excruciating pain I have ever felt.
