Thapelo Mokoena Doubles Up As An Actor and Producer In Upcoming Film. Fans of A Royal Surprise, will happy to note that the movie’s sequel is about to drop.
The movie centres around Riley Stevenson, who accepts an invitation to visit Mandla, her boyfriend’s family, in South Africa. When she arrives, she is shocked to learn that Mandla has a secret he never shared with her! He is a wealthy African prince. The news puts Riley’s trust in Mandla in jeopardy, and now it’s up to him to win her love back. Riley must decide if she will give Mandla a second chance and win the approval of his royal family.
The movie is coming back in the form of a sequel titled, A Royal Christmas Surprise. In the sequel, Riley and Mandla will have to navigate tension between the matriarchs of their respective families, planning their engagement party, and another “Royal Surprise” that puts into question the couple’s entire future.
Thapelo Mokoena stars as Mandla, whereas Jennifer Freeman plays Riley. The movie also stars Makgotso M, Sello Maake kaNcube, Charlie Bouguenon, Abena Ayivor, Sive Mabuya, and Gaosi Raditholo among others. Excitingly enough Thapelo and Jennifer are not only lead actors, but co-producers as well.
