DJ Zinhle Pays Tribute to AKA With A Beautiful Video. Although they were no longer a couple, DJ Zinhle and Kiernan AKA Forbes have always had that bond. This is all thanks to the beautiful daughter they had, Kairo Forbes.
Kairo has sadly lost her dad, as AKA was brutally shot Friday night in Durban. The multi-award winning rapper, TV personality and entrepreneur and his close friend, Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane, were gunned down outside a restaurant on Florida Road. The pair are thought to have been on their way to a nightclub for a performance as part of AKA’s birthday celebrations when they were shot.
The assailants then fled the scene on foot. At the moment the motive of the killing is being investigated.
Tributes have been pouring in for the two, and many people are thinking mostly about Kairo at this trying time. If you followed both father and daughter on social media, you will know how close they were. From their cool dance videos, outings, birthday shout outs, spotting identical hairstyles, one could tell they had such a special bond. Kairo has sadly been robbed of creating more beautiful memories with her father as he is now late.
In remembrance of AKA, Kairo’s mom Zinhle shared a video in which the father and daughter are dancing on her Instagram. The multi-award winning DJ and successful business woman did not caption the video, and she also closed the comments section.
At the time of his death AKA was dating fellow rapper Nadia Nakai, and they were really tight. On the other hand, DJ Zinhle moved on with her now husband and baby daddy, Murdah Bongz.
