Big Brother Mzansi Season III’s BU Bags A Lead Role In A New Showmax Series. One thing about the Big Brother Mzansi Season III housemates, they are all about securing the bag. Quite a number of them have invaded the industry with reality shows, radio gigs, TV hosting gigs, acting gigs, brand ambassadorship gigs, YouTube content creating, various businesses among other opportunities.
One of those doing the most is Luthando BU Mthembu. Immediately after the show the reality show star, musician and actor inked a deal with an independent music distribution company, Electromode Ingrooves Music Group.
“At this point, It’s all about signing the right deals. A wise man once told me, “make sure to always keep your promises.. especially the ones you make to yourself” The music is ready, the paper work is being processed & now all we gotta do is pick a date to drop,” BU said then.
Ever since then, BU has been working really hard on his music. Still, the talented star did not neglect his other talents like acting. BU was cast on Ayeye: Stripped and Redemption, where he did an outstanding job.
Now he has bagged his biggest acting role yet. BU is part of the Adulting cast members, the first Showmax Original from Tshedza Pictures. Set in Johannesburg, the series, explores the parallel universes of four varsity friends. Their strong bond has held them together even as their journeys in life have taken them in very different directions.
BU plays toy-boy Vuyani, who uses his pretty face and charm to win the ladies. Other cast members include, Thembinkosi Mthembu as successful businessman Bonga, Thabiso Rammutsi as cheating family man Mpho, and Nhanhla Kunene as hot-headed bad-boy Eric.
There is also the likes of Winnie Ntshaba, Sikelelwa Vuyeleni, Lungile Duma, Buhle Samuels and Londeka Shishi. Making cameos in Adulting are Major League DJz, Boohle, Mohale Motaung, Austin Malema, and others.
