“Your Couriers Are Stealing Our Food,” Themba Ndaba to Uber Eats
“Your Couriers Are Stealing Our Food,” Themba Ndaba to Uber Eats. In 2014, Uber launched an online food ordering and delivery platform, called Uber Eats. Through the service, meals are delivered by couriers using cars, scooters, bikes, or on foot. It has extended its operation to delivering other goods like clothing and jewellery.
As convenient as they are, just like any other service provider, Uber Eats does encounter a couple of problems. Some clients also complain about their efficiency, charges delivery time, among other things. There has been some incidents, where hungry clients complain that their meals have been tampered with (eaten).
One individual not happy about Uber Eats is Themba Ndaba. The award winning veteran actor took to Twitter to air his grievances about Uber Eats in the Lanseria/Broadacres area. He stated that his card payment orders disappeared about four times. Themba also added that the couriers are stealing their food.
“@UberEats in the Lanseria/Broadacres area. Card payment orders disappear… 4 times now. They deliver only cash payments. Your couriers are stealing our food,” Themba said.
