There is a trending video on Twitter, where Vusi was giving one of his motivational speeches. He definitely lost his audience when he started talking about how the Zebras came to have stripes as opposed to spots.

“Do you know why the zebra’s stripes are this way and tot diagonal? Why is a Zebra stripped, not spotted like a leopard? Vusi said.

He went on to explain that the reason behind this is because of the Tsetsefly which carries a certain virus. According to Vusi, the virus kills horses. As horses were dying in the wild, over years of evolution, the DNA coded itself to realize that the Tsetsefly is color blind. It was difficult for it to spot the Zebra as it now had stripes. He also added that the striped protect the Zebra from the lions, which are also color blind.

At the end, Vusi linked this to how sometimes people in business think. This has caused a lot of confusion to social media users who can’t seem to see the link between the two.

“The video is too short: I was trying to explain Darwin’s theory,” Vusi said.
