Skhumba and Trevor Gumbi to Host a Cool Stand-Up Comedy Series. With everything that is going on in the country, we all need some bit of laughter. The new program on Mzansi Magic channel, definitely came at the right time.

Hosted by Trevor Gumbi and Skhumba Hlophe, Mzansi Comedy Nights is coming through with brilliant jokes, witty banter, and entertainment. The one-of-a-kind stand-up comedy series sees talented and brilliant young comedians take to the stage to perform a standup set in front of a live audience. Some of the country’s top well-known comedians, will also take to the stage.

While performing, the comedians will be watched and rated backstage by their peers as well as the hosts. They will then give their feedback once the performance is over, in the form of a roast. It’s a performance appraisal, but brutally funny.

Filmed at the Prison Break Market in Midrand, Mzansi Comedy Nights will air 10 hour-long episodes. The producers promise that no two episodes will be the same. All the more reasons to catch all the episodes. When it comes to the hosts, they couldn’t have picked a better pair. Trevor and Skhumba are definitely going to be fire on that stage.

The new edgy show will premier Sunday 29 January at 21h00, only on Mzansi Magic (DStv Channel 161), and we can’t wait.
