SA Celebs Join In to Mourn the Passing Away of Orlando Pirates Staunch Supporter Goodenough. Sports creates a bond between contemporaries that lasts a lifetime. As much it is mostly about competition, different sport codes have brought people from different walks of life together.

Here is South Africa, the most popular sporting code is football, with the main teams being Mamelodi Sundowns, Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates among many others. These football teams pride themselves in having staunch fans, who never miss a game. Through their dedication, these supporters have made names for themselves, and are occasionally interviewed by journalists before and after games.

Sadly one of the most recognized local football fans have lost their live. Goodenough Sithole, who is Orlando Pirates’ super fan passed away in the early hours of this morning (Friday). Details around his sudden death are still unknown at this stage, but that hasn’t stopped the masses to send their tributes.

Sithole started supporting at the age of 12, and has never looked back. He rose to prominence years ago for the interview he gave to former SABC presenter Deshi Bhaktawer. Sithole is famous for his lines β€œfive skipas“, “like it for the Pirates” and “Not make sure”. He has also appeared in songs by rapper Cassper Nyovest and DJ Cooperman from Bulawayo.
