Ndavi Nokeri Finishes Top 16 At Miss Universe 2022. She was among the top 10 favorite to clinch the Miss Universe crown. This is because social media saw Ndavi Nokeri‘s potential, on certain activities prior to the main pageant. Leading beauty pageant website, Missosology, even placed her as one of the top 10 to win the prestigious crown.
Our reigning Miss South Africa, graced the stage in a beautiful masterpiece by top designer Juan William Aria. The dress is called “Hosikati” meaning Queen in Tsonga. The radiant colors on the dress represent the vibrancy of our people and the beauty of our land.
A lot were hopeful that Ndavi will join a growing number of South African queens who have walked away with the crown in previous years. Sadly this wasn’t to be for the country this time around. Nonetheless, we are proud of our Ndavi, who finished at a respectable Top 16 position at Miss Universe 2022 last night.
For this, Ndavi was congratulated by the likes of Lalela Mswane, Liesl Laurie, Natasha Joubert, among others. Our beauty queen made the top 16 round alongside contestants from Colombia, Spain, Venezuela, India, Curaçao, Trinidad and Tobago, Peru, Canada, Portugal, Laos, Dominican Republic, USA, Australia, Haiti and Puerto Rico.
“Our hearts are swelling with so much pride. You showed the world your magic since day one and we are looking forward to seeing you soar,” Miss South Africa organization congratulated Ndavi.
The prestigious crown was clinched by USA’s R’Bonney Gabriel, during the event held in New Orleans, United States. Miss Venezuela Amanda Dudamel and Miss Dominican Republic Andreína Martínez were announced the first and second runner-ups, respectively.
