Linda Sibiya Accused of Being A Biased Host. A week ago, Moja Love Channel found itself under fire after their Isencane Lengane episode. On that particular episode young wedded couple Siyacela Dlamuka and Thando Msomi got into a fight which led to gender-based violence.
The reality show follows the lives of the couple, and their relationship with immediate family members. From season one to date, there has been so much toxicity displayed, with Siyacela being the main perpetrator. In the current storyline, Siyacela wants to formally introduce his side girlfriend to Thando, who does not want to hear any of it. As expected, it is fight after fight, and viewers are not impressed with the content they are fed with.
Last week, Thando experiencing Gender-Based Violence at the hands of Siyacela, which was shown live on TV. Instead of viewers seeing this as entertaining content, they were not impressed and dragged both the show and the channel. Moja Love then issued a statement to profusely apologize for upsetting their viewers.
On Sunday Moja Love ran a one-hour special of Isencane Lengane, where the young couple was interviewed. The host on the first part of the special was Linda Mr Magic Sibiya. By the look of things, Siyacela was meant to apologize for his abusive ways, and probably learn how to treat a woman. Linda as the host, was supposed to show the young man his errs, and help him become a better husband.
Viewers however, did not see things that way. They feel Linda was biased, and kind of found excuses for Siyacela’s behavior. The seasoned media personality was also accused of always taking the man’s side, with Mnakwethu polygamy show, used as an example.
