DJ Fresh Pledges to Financially Aid A Young Girl Representing Botswana in An International Beauty Pageant. It is always heartwarming to see our celebrities come through for those facing challenged. DJ Fresh is one of those personalities, who always avails himself to help, when the opportunity arises.
Over the past couple of months the award winning DJ and media personality has been busy with a huge project in his home country, Botswana. In an effort to rejuvenate the creative sector post the COVID-19 contagion, Botswana government introduced an initiative dubbed the Department of Broadcasting Services (DBS) National Tour. The tour, lead by Fresh is aimed at empowering the creative transport, hospitality and tourism sectors.
This project has certainly rejuvenated, the DJ, to help more in his home country. Fresh has helped a number of artists, as well as young Batswana in the entertainment space. He has encouraged them to make use of the opportunity, saying they should attend workshops.
Another opportunity for him to assist has just availed itself. There is a little girl who recently represented Botswana at Miss World Junior Idol. She did very well, becoming the 3rd runner-up. The only issue is that the parents couldn’t pay the full $1060 registration fee. They have an outstanding P12 517 to settle. After taking to Facebook asking for help, DJ Fresh heeded the call and said, he will settle the balance.
