1. 16 year-old Dakalo Molope was born in 2006, in West Rand, Gauteng.

2. Currently Dakalo is in Grade 12, which means at the end of the year, she will be sitting for her Matric exams.

3. To polish her craft she joined the National School of the Arts when she was 13. At the age of 15, Dakalo realized that she wanted to pursue art as a career.

4. The talented actress then joined the cast of Pearls of Wisdom on Showmax, where she was cast to play the role of Lebo.

5. A year ago, she joined the talented cast of Scandal! On the e,tv show, Dakalo plays Motshabi ‘Mo’, a troubled varsity student. Motshabi is probably the way she is because she learnt that the woman who raised her is not her biological mother. Mo is the child Dintle who gave up for adoption years ago.

6. She is a sangoma in real life. A year ago Dakalo answered her calling and went to ephehlweni, an initiation school to learn and understand her gift and calling.

7. During that time she was juggling school, work, and initiation school, which wasn’t easy at all. Although it was tough, she had to reflect and make peace with the fact that she is not like other teenagers.
