Zikhona Bali Thanks Onscreen Husband Chrispen Nyathi for A Great Working Relationship

Zikhona Bali Thanks Onscreen Husband Chrispen Nyathi for A Great Working Relationship. They will go down history as one of the best couples we have ever had on TV. Zikhona Bali and Chrispen Nyathi play husband and wife Asanda and Charleston on Diep City.

As a church leader, Pastor Charleston needed a strong willed woman by his side, and definitely, Asa came to the party. Together the two led a church, and were very active in religious activities that served the community. Just like many young couples, Asa and Charleston had their own problems, but the good thing is that they always found a way to each other.

Sadly as Asa was also part of a female gang, which cost her, her life. She recently got shot at a crime scene, and lost her life. This happened as she and Charleston were preparing for their much anticipated wedding. Her death also meant the exit of Zikhona from the show, after being with Diep City from the first season to date.

As she exits the show, Zikhona has nothing but praises for her colleague Chrispen. She reckons, if another opportunity to work with him arises, she will grab it with both hands. The talented actress also thanked him for how he made her feel, even during the most uncomfortable scenes.

If you asked, if I’d do it again with him @chrispen_nyathi. I’d say yes all over again. Thank you for arriving and being present on ‘ACTION’. Thank you for allowing our characters to travel to uncomfortable places and making sure I travel back safely. Thank you for being goofy with me in between takes. I appreciate your focus, calm energy and willingness to be your magical self. Love you buddy,” she said

A couple of weeks back Chrispen also penned a heartfelt Instagram post to Zikhona. He praised her for contributing to him becoming a better actor.

“Only a few are privileged enough to play🎥🎬 with those that inspire them. Working🎥 with @zikhona_bali feels like a workshop on its own, and because of you Zikhona I believe I am a better actor, ngiyabonga mama…🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿,” he said.
