Watch! Katlego Maboe and Craig David Break Into A Cool Duet. Now this is absolutely beautiful to see. Two years ago, Katlego Maboe was almost down and out as he was cancelled. Now the gentleman has made the biggest comebacks of them all in the industry.
In 2020, the multi-talented TV host and musician lost all his gigs, after his personal life made it to social media. Katlego was suspended as Expresso Morning Show host, lost his gig as OUTsurance ambassador, and was replaced as the host of My Tropika Island of Treasure. His nomination at the South African Film and Television Awards was also revoked after some complaints. Katlego also went missing in action on social media, and as such a number of people wrote him off.
Well, this year, after being cleared off domestic violence charges, Katlego claimed back his life. In August he made his way back to Expresso as a host. Two months back, Katlego announced that he was back as the host of My Tropika Island of Treasure. He will be joining the All Stars participants in the Seychelles as the host of the second leg of Tropika Island of Treasure season 10. To show that he is in a happy space, Katlego is enjoying once again showing off his amazing vocal skills. He recently e jumped on the Open Verse Challenge initiated by American singer John Legend. Taking on Legend’s new song Nervous, he showed the masses what he is really made of.
Now he just did a duet with British singer-songwriter, Craig David. The two personalities sang Craig’s timeless classic Rise and Fall, which was released 10 years go. How cool was it when Craig complimented Katlego’s smooth voice!
