MaBlerh Marks His Best Friend Akhumzi Jezile’s 37th Birthday With A Cool Tribute. We are just a few months away from Akhumzi Jezile’s 8th death anniversary. The renowned television personality, actor and producer’s life was claimed by an accident that happened in Queenstown, Eastern Cape, in April 2018. The accident also took the lives of Inxeba actor Thobani Mseleni and former Joyous Celebrations singer Siyasanga Kobese.

Akhumzi’s death sent shock waves throughout social media, as his friends, fans and colleagues expressed their sadness over his death. What’s even more sad is the fact that he was just 29 years of age at the time of his passing. He still had a lot to offer in life both personally and professionally.

Although it has been a couple of years since he is gone, Akhumzi is definitely not forgotten. Every now and then his friends, family, fans and the industry at large remember him. Today one of his friends MaBlerh paid a special tribute, as the day would have been his 37th birthday. MaBlerh shared how Akhumizi gave them a hard time after winning a SAFTA. He went house showing off his award to his friends. At MaBlerh’s house he put the award on the coffee table and commanded to be referred to as SAFTA award winner Akhumzi, the whole day.

“When I tell you that we never heard the end of this moment, I mean it. He went on a tour to our homes as his friends. He placed it on my coffee table and made me refer to him as “Safta award winner Akhumzi” the whole day. 😭.”
