Thembi Seete Expresses Gratitude As Season 18 of Idols SA Ends. It goes without saying that she took one of the most difficult jobs in the country. As an SA Idols judge Thembi Seete has been exposed to criticism, judgement, rude comments among other nasty things.
Thembi joined SA Idols as a judge after making one appearance last season as a guest judge. People definitely loved her vibe and vast knowledge of music such that she was called back, now on permanent basis. The award winning musician, actress and TV personality joined two other talented South African personalities Thato JR Bogopa and Somizi Mhlongo as Season 18 judges.
With her sweet personality, Thembi has won the hearts of contestants who always looked forward to her motherly-love remarks. She didn’t have it in her to give tough love, something that didn’t sit well with some viewers.. So many people thought Thembi was just too soft for the show. This did not anyhow affect Thembi, who was always bubbly until the season ended this past Sunday.
As now the season has ended, Themi took to social media to express her gratitude. She is grateful for the opportunity, and stated how being a judge has helped her grow as a person.
“Having come to the end of @idolssa season 18, words are not enough to express the level of my gratitude for being part of the amazing judging panel for the show.
It has been such a beautiful journey that has not only challenged me but also groomed me in more ways than one.
