Thami Ngubeni Opens Up About Her Hijacking and Kidnapping Ordeal. A lot of people have dubbed South Africa a crime scene. This is because anytime, anywhere there are criminal activities putting the lives of residents at risks. From the aged, the poor, the most vulnerable, no one is safe from criminals.
Last week Thami Ngubeni, a presenter on Metro FM (The Secret space on Sunday) was hijacked in Johannesburg South. The media personality and actress has now found the courage to share the terrible she went through. Thami revealed that it was around 14:30 when she got hijacked and kidnapped and the criminals released her at around 18:00. They took her car, phones and withdrew money from her account.
The good thing is that although traumatized, Thami was not physically harmed. She also added that she is very thankful that God saved her life in the unfortunate incident. Thami then went on to encourage those who have experienced crime, a kidnapping or hijacking to share their stories, what the experience taught them, what could they have done differently, if they went for trauma counseling, the Bible verses that saw them through and so forth.
“On Monday I was hijacked and kidnapped. They took everything material but they did not take my life. I give God the glory. Faithful God. The God who fights my battles. My God who saved me from the jaws of the lion,” Thami said.
