Sonia is currently trending on social media after her son’s baby mama opened up about the abuse he has inflicted on her. Donell Mbele has been accused of allegedly abusing his girlfriend Reokeditswe. The abused girlfriend, took to her Instagram stories to share receipts in the form of pictures and a video. She showed off her bruised face and even shared private messages between them where he allegedly admits to physically assaulting her, almost raping her and fearing he might kill her one day.
In one of her stories, Reokeditswe claims that Donell logs in on her Instagram page and deletes the posts but she managed to re-post them again. This is really sad and scary, considering how many women continue to lose their lives at the hands of their lovers.
As his mom is a well known actress and entrepreneur, Donell has caught the attention of many. Sonia is one of the celebrity parents who is forever gushing over their kids. When Donell was announced an SRC member, while he was still at high school, Sonia was over the moon. In 2019 she made sure that her son got the best send off fit for a Prince for his Matric dance farewell.
Now people are wondering, why the mom is all mute now that her son is trending for the wrong reasons. They suggest that she takes him to the police station with immediate effect.

Sonia Mbele is a public figure, hence they refere to Donell Mbele "Sonia Mbele son". Even if he could have done something good eg. getting married or bought a 1 million rand house, they were still gonna refere to him as "Sonia Mbele son" and no one was going to complain about it.
